Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with expertise in supplier quality management to lead supplier qualification, manage product quality, and drive continuous improvement across our supply base. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between our internal engineering teams and external suppliers, ensuring world‑class performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Relevant skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality—preferably with MEMS components.
Strong understanding of MEMS fabrication, packaging, ASIC integration, and acoustic testing.
Experience conducting supplier audits and managing component suppliers.
Strong skills in statistical analysis (SPC, Gage R&R, DOE).
Hands-on experience managing failure analysis activities.
Proven track record of driving root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
Familiarity with JEDEC, AEC‑Q100/200, and other relevant reliability standards.
Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO/TS 16949.

Our offices are located in Oslo Science Park (Forskningsparken). You’ll work closely with skilled colleagues in technology, operations, and business development here, but also with our other colleagues globally.
Key responsibilities
Lead evaluation and qualification of new suppliers assuring they meet quality standards, performance spec, regulatory requirements and capacity needs.
Lead qualification of supplier processes and/or material changes according to internal and industry standards.
Perform regular onsite supplier audits (process audits, quality system audits, capability assessments).
Assess and approve supplier manufacturing processes, SPC plans, and quality controls.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as yield, PPM, defect trends, and reliability metrics.
Implement incoming inspection plans and drive improvements in defect identification and containment.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with product specifications, and reliability requirements.
Lead root‑cause analysis for supplier related defects and drive closure of identified corrective and preventive actions.
Partner with internal design, test, and reliability teams to evaluate design-for-manufacturing (DfM) and design-for-quality (DfQ) improvements.
Review and approve supplier control plans, and reliability test reports.
Drive supplier roadmap development for technology, capability, and quality enhancements.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, automation, and contamination control.
Support cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
